Police open fire in Kathmandu to arrest drug traffickers

Kathmandu. A team from the Narcotics Control Bureau has taken two individuals into custody after opening fire at Pingalasthan, Kathmandu. Bureau SP Durgaraj Regmi confirmed to Ratopati that Anil Kumar Paswan, a native of Bihar, India, was injured by gunfire. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Trauma Center. Police also arrested another trafficker at the scene.Acting on a tip-off regarding a brown heroin transaction, a team led by SP Regmi arrived at Gaushala last night.
