KMC Education Department directs schools to conduct Grade 8 exams through internal evaluation

Education Ministry decides to close schools till Jan 29

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has decided to close schools till January 29 in the view of growing risk of COVID-19 transmission. A meeting of the ministry held earlier on Monday morning took a decision to this effect, according to the joint secretary and spokesperson for the ministry, Deepak Sharma. “Since the COVID-19 Crisis Management Coordination Committee (CCMCC) made a recommendation in this regard, we don’t need to make any further decisions,” said Sharma. “We just approved its decision.”
