Hindu hermits (Sadhus and saints) from different parts of Nepal and India have started arriving in the Pashupati area for the upcoming Maha Shivaratri festival.
KATHMANDU: The Pashupatinath Temple witnessed a vibrant scene as thousands of devotees, hailing from various parts of Nepal and beyond, gathered in the early hours of Friday to commemorate the Maha Shivaratri festival.

KATHMANDU, March 1: Devotees and visitors have been flocking to the Pashupatinath Temple since early Monday morning marking the Maha Shivaratri festival.
Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated annually in honor of the lord Shiva. This year the festival is being marked on March 1.
