Maoist Center’s Karki leading in Dolakha

DOLAKHA: Ganga Karki, the candidate of the Maoist Center to the House of Representatives from Dolakha, has maintained his lead in the vote count. He is ahead of UML candidate Bal Krishna Siwakoti by 1,260 votes. While Karki has garnered 10,737 votes, Siwakoti has secured 9,477 votes so far.

KATHMANDU, Dec 5: Ganga Karki of CPN (Maoist Center) has been elected the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Dolakha district. Karki garnered 36,799votes for his victory while his nearest contender Bal Krishna Shivakoti of CPN-UML collected 36,482 votes. Likewise, Kunda Raj Kafle of Nepali Congress has been elected the member of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly from Dolakha (1). He garnered 23,331 votes while his nearest contender Nar Bahadur Shrestha of CPN-UML got 15,356 votes. Similarly, Bharat Bahadur KC of CPN-UML has also been elected the member of the Provincial Assembly from Dolakha (2).

KATHMANDU: Ganga Karki, the candidate of CPN-Maoist Center, has been elected to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Dolakha. He defeated CPN-UML candidate Bal Krishna Siwakoti. While Karki garnered 36,799 votes, UML’s Siwakoti secured 36,482 votes. Karki won the election by a margin of 317 votes. A total of 84,448 votes were counted in Dolakha.

UML leads vote count in Dolakha

KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The CPN (UML) is currently leading the vote count in Dolakha.  As of Sunday morning, UML's candidate for the House of Representatives, Bal Krishna Siwakoti has so far received 15,363 votes while his nearest rival Ganga Karki of CPN (Maoist Centre) has got 14,038 votes. So far a total of 34,481 votes have been counted.  Likewise, UML's Bharat KC, a candidate for the Provincial Assembly from Dolakha-2,  is also leading the vote count with 16,337 votes followed by Nepali Congress candidate Burma Lama with 12,058 votes. A total of 21 candidates from 14 different political parties and seven independent candidates are contesting in the election. Earlier, a reelection was held in Dolakha.

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Ganga Karki, a candidate for the House of Representatives (HoR) of CPN (Maoist Center) – backed by the ruling alliance – is currently leading the vote count in Dolakha district. Of the 4,494 votes counted so far, Karki has garnered 2,910 votes while his nearest contender of CPN-UML has collected 11,83 votes. Likewise, Kundanraj Kafle, a candidate of Nepali Congress for the member of the Provincial Assembly is currently leading the vote count in Dolakha (1). He has so far collected 2,183 votes while his nearest contender of CPN-UML Nara bahadur Shrestha has garnered 1,327 votes. Similarly, Bharat KC of CPN-UML is leading the vote count in Dolakha (2).  A re-election was held in the 10 polling centers in Dolakha district on December 1, 2022 where the elections were canceled earlier.
