Nepal Int'l Tourism Campaign begins

The USAID Trade and Competitiveness, in partnership with Steller, through a grant award has launched a two-phased international tourism campaign to be carried out in 2023 and 2024 to attract high value tourists to Nepal from around the globe, in coordination with the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

KATHMANDU, Nov 11: China’s Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism Li Qun is scheduled to visit Nepal soon before the election of the federal and provincial level. According to Jeevan Raj Shrestha, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Chinese leader Li is scheduled to visit Nepal but the exact date has not been finalized yet. It has been learnt that Li will pay a visit to monuments in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur that were built in the support of China. Many observers have raised suspicion over Li’s visit ahead of the crucial hours of the election.
