All party meeting at EC today, discuss NA, local level elections

KATHMANDU, Jan 14: The Election Commission (EC) is scheduled to hold an all party meeting on Friday to discuss upcoming by-polls of the National  Assembly (NA) and local levels. The meeting is scheduled to kick-off at 11 AM this morning. “The meeting will dwell on the schedule and preparations of NA by-polls and the election of local levels,” said Saligram Sharma Poudel, spokesperson for the EC. According to spokesperson Sharma, as many as 17 political parties including parties in the federal parliament, provincial assembly and local levels have been invited to the meeting.
