Kathmandu, Dec 13: The Election Commission has distributed election symbols to political parties participating in proportional representation (PR) electoral system for the election to the House of Representatives scheduled for March 5.The EC on Friday provided the election symbols to the political parties registered at the EC for the election purpose.Assistant Election Officer, Yagya Prasad Bhattarai, said the EC had given three-day deadline for the political parties to register application for PR system from December 7.Though 100 political parties had file application to participate in the PR system, 93 election symbols were distributed.
