KATHMANDU, Jan 14: Some parts of the country’s hilly region are likely to witness rain today due to an impact of westerly wind, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The Department stated that it will be partly cloudy in Province 1, Province 2 and Sudurpaschim Province while the parts in the rest of the country will remain mainly clear.
Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places in Province 1.
Likewise, the Department has asked one and all to apply needed security and precaution against cold, adding that the mercury could go further down in the coming 24 hours.
Kathmandu Valley recorded minimum 4.6 degree Celsius and maximum 16.5 degree Celsius today.
