Business is bouncing back in Bethlehem after two years in the doldrums during the coronavirus pandemic, lifting spirits in the traditional birthplace of Jesus ahead of the Christmas holiday.

Unveiling the decisions of the Cabinet meeting convened on December 22, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki here today shared that the government decided to declare a public holiday on December 25.
Christmas is observed on December 25 to mark the birth of Jesus Christ.
adisson Hotel Kathmandu held the official Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to welcome the holiday season. Dignitaries from various embassies, corporate houses and media houses were present during the event.
