The Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumer Protection, which conducts regular market monitoring, fined two firms on Sunday.Following irregularities found during on-site inspection, the department fined Basbari Rice Mill located in Basbari, Kathmandu, NPR 200,000. Similarly, Jayas Anna Ghar in Kageshwori Municipality-6, Mulapani Babachowk, was fined NPR 10,000.
