KATHMANDU, November 21: The Parliament Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) is scheduled to conduct hearings on proposed ambassadors for India, the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States of America (USA) on Sunday.
The meeting will dwell on complaints filed against these people nominated by the government for the post of foreign envoys and distribute work plans.
The government has recommended names of Shankar Sharma for India, Shreedar Khatri for the USA and Gyan Chandra Acharya for the UK to be appointed for the post of ambassadors.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that he was encouraged by the goodwill and solidarity expressed in the UK Parliament towards Nepal on various occasions.
