Kathmandu, December 13 — The CPN (Maoist Centre) has concluded that the local level by-elections have thwarted the Nepali Congress and CPN UML’s plan to move the country towards a two-party system.
The party reached this conclusion during the central committee meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Parisdanda.
Spokesperson Agniprasad Sapkota shared that the by-election results have not only shattered the two-party agenda of Congress and UML but have also created pressure on the government in other aspects.
He added, “The election results have created pressure on the government in various areas.”
