Mugu district of Karnali Province is now connected to the national electricity transmission system. The Nepal Electricity Authority has supplied electricity to Gamgadhi, the district headquarters of Mugu, by tapping the 33 kV transmission line from Kalikot to Jumla at a place called Nagma.
Jumla district has now been connected to the national transmission line of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
According to Gaurav Pandey, chief of NEA Distribution Centre, Jumla, 11 KV national transmission line was connected in Jumla on Sunday via Kalikot for the time being.
As soon as it reached Kalikot line, the NEA had been working at a fast pace in order to meet its target to connect Jumla to the national transmission line soon.
Pandey also thanked all the supporters for successfully connecting electricity line to Jumla headquarters.
