Kushma-New Butwal 220 kV transmission line comes into operation
KATHMANDU, Dec 12: The power transmission line of 220 kV along the Kaligandaki corridor has come into operation. This transmission line is expected to keep power supply to the districts of Nawalparasi and Rupandehi stable.
KATHMANDU, Sept 5: The 132 kV double circuit transmission line from Yogikuti (Butwal) to Mainahiya, built for reliable and quality power supply, increase transmission capacity and control technical leakage in the Bhairahawa area of Rupandehi, has been inaugurated.
A 132 kV double-circuit transmission line has come into operation from Yogikuti (Butwal) to Mainhiya to improve power supply and control technical leakage in Bhairahawa area of Rupandehi district. Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has brought 18km Butwal-Lumbini transmission line from Butwal substation to Mainhiya substation into operation by flowing electricity since Wednesday.
BUTWAL, Sept 12: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is considering alternate routes for the 132 KV Butwal-Mainahiya transmission line project as the Department of Roads (DoR) rejected the Yogikoti-Kotihawa road section of Siddhartha Highway for building the transmission line.
