The number of tourists coming to Chitwan has recorded a fifty per cent decrease in the recent past financial year.     Majority of the tourists coming to Chitwan National Park go on a jungle safari and the data on the same shows a significant decline due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the last fiscal year 2077/78, 92,209 tourists went for a jungle safari in the park, which was 182,435 in the previous fiscal year 2077/76.     The number of domestic tourists visiting the park however saw only a minor decline,
