‘Rubbery not the cause of murder in Sankuwasaba’ suggests preliminary Police investigation report

Gold, jewelris and Rs 417,000 recovered from deceased house KATHMANDU, September 8: A preliminary investigation report of Police has suggested that rubbery was not the cause behind murder of six members of a family in Madi Municipality-1 of Sankuwasaba district. Earlier, the police was suspicious that rubbers might have killed the family members but after recovering gold, jewelries and Rs 417,000 from the deceased house, Police have maintained that rubbers might not have murdered the family members of Tej Bahadur Karki. We have recovered gold, jewelries and Rs 471,000 from the house, said SP Bhim Dahal, who is involved in the investigation of the case. “Besides, jewelries of the deceased were recovered along with their dead bodies also,” SP Dahal added. Earlier on Monday morning, Tej Bahadur Karki, Parbati Karki (mother), Kamala (wife), Ranjana Karki (daughter-in-law), Bipin Karki and Goma Karki were found dead in four different locations around their houses. The Central Investigation Bureau has also mobilized its team to investigate the case.
