Contempt case registered in SC against government for its failure to enact climate change legislations
KATHMANDU, Dec 22: A contempt case has been registered in the Supreme Court against the government for its failure to enact a law in accordance with the mandamus order issued earlier regarding the climate change legislations.
Minister for Finance Janardan Sharma said Nepal was one of the most vulnerable countries in the world because of climate change due to a climate-dependent economy and limited adaptation capacity.
