Sulawesi quake death toll at 81 as Indonesia battles series of disasters
JAKARTA, Jan 18: A powerful earthquake that struck Indonesia’s Sulawesi island last week has killed at least 81 people and displaced more than 19,000, the country’s disaster mitigation agency said, as search and rescue efforts continued on Monday.
The death toll from a 5.6 magnitude quake that hit Indonesia's West Java Province rose to 310, CGTN reported citing the country's national disaster mitigation agency.
