Eastern Nawalparasi. For the last 6 months, a continuous plume of smoke has been emanating from Ghagi Bhir in Hupsekot Rural Municipality-6, Eastern Nawalparasi. A landslide occurred in the hill located between Pelega and Bhandari villages two years ago. Smoke has been continuously emanating from underground at that same spot since last Chaitra, according to local Dan Bahadur Rana Magar. About 18 years ago, a plume of smoke also emerged from the southern part of the same area. It extinguished on its own after some time, and now smoke has started emanating from another location.
