An excavator operator died today after being hit by falling rocks while digging a road for the under-construction Chhujung Khola Hydropower Project in Sano Yakrkha, Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-2, here.The excavator operator, 38-year-old Devraj Rai from Diding, Chichila Rural Municipality-3, died on the spot, informed District Police Office Information Officer and Police Inspector Dhan Bahadur Rajbanshi.
