The Tamang community residing in the Kathmandu Valley celebrated Mhendomaya on Saturday in Goldhunga. They gathered at the Khalt of Goldhunga to sing Mhendomaya on the occasion of Losar.The festival also featured the traditional 'Ghoda Naach' (Horse Dance), which is associated with various legends concerning the ethnic origin, social, economic, and religious beliefs of the Tamang community.
