Nepal Revises Mustard Oil Quality Standards, Bans Misleading Advertisements
Kathmandu. The Department of Quality and Metrology, under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies of the Government of Nepal, has prepared a new draft by amending the quality standard for mustard oil (Nepal Quality 03:2035) for the second time.The new standard has made the production, processing, safety limits, and labeling of mustard oil stricter, and has completely banned advertisements and publicity that mislead consumers.
