Kathmandu. Commercial banks have published new interest rates for the month of Shrawan, effective from today. According to published data, the trend of declining bank interest rates has not stopped in Shrawan. The average interest rate for both individual and institutional customers has decreased in Shrawan compared to Jestha. Out of twenty commercial banks, some banks have reduced their previous month's interest rates for the month of Shrawan.The National Commercial Bank has reduced the most interest rates. New Financial Year Begins with Revised Tax Policies and Monetary Measures
Kathmandu. The new financial year 2083/84 has started from Friday. With the beginning of the new financial year, the budget, policies and programs brought by the government and the monetary policy published by the central bank have come into implementation. Prithvi Highway Reopens After Dry Landslide Cleared
Kathmandu. The Prithvi Highway has come into operation after the dry landslide that fell near the Tigrang mine area in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-10, Dhading, was cleared. The highway has been fully operational for vehicles on both sides since 4 am today. Earlier, dry landslides continuously falling from above in that area had completely obstructed the Prithvi Highway. Due to the risk, the District Administration Office, Dhading, had stopped the movement of all types of vehicles until further notice.
