As per the decision of the Supreme Court, the government on Friday deported French national- a bikini killer Charles Sobhraj. He is prohibited to visit Nepal for ten years.
Charles Sobhraj, who was released from jail on Friday after the order of the Supreme Court, is going to be deported today. After the jail term of 19 years and three months, Sobhraj was released from Central Jail Sundhara.

The Supreme Court today ordered the government to release murder convict Charles Sobhraj, currently lodged at the Central Jail in Sundhara, from prison.
KATHMANDU, Dec 21: The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued an order to release French serial killer Charles Sobhraj.
A joint bench of Justice Sapna Pradan Malla and Til Prasad Shrestha issued the order to this effect.
The apex court has maintained that Sobhraj has already undergone 75 percent of his total sentencing and has displayed good moral character during this period.
Similarly, the court has also ordered to release Sobhraj as soon as possible and deport him to his home country within 15 days of his release if he is not liable to be in custody for other cases.
Sobhraj was in custody on the charge of murdering two foreign tourists in 2060 Ashoj 1 B.S.
