KATHMANDU: A period of silence has descended upon the National Assembly (NA) election, initiated today by the Election Commission (EC).
The EC, in a formal statement, has declared a halt to all election-related campaign activities effective immediately.
This silence period will persist until the culmination of the voting process.
Throughout this designated timeframe, all members associated with political parties, candidates, affiliated organizations, and entities bound by the established code of conduct are expressly prohibited from participating in any form of discussions, interactions, meetings, conferences, workshops, or any propaganda associated with the election.
