NAC aircraft carrying Nepali students from Israel expected to arrive in Kathmandu at 1:30 AM

KATHMANDU, October 12: A Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) plane, carrying 253 Nepalis from Israel, took off from Tel Aviv, Israel, according to aides of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. The rescue flight is scheduled to land at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu at 1:30 AM.

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Israel has announced that it will welcome 1,000 more Nepali migrant workers to work in its agricultural sectors. Israel has already welcomed more than 1,000 Nepali workers as caregivers. The Embassy of Israel based in Kathmandu has recently informed the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security regarding the decision. Israel provides medical supplies to Nepal

KATHMANDU, July 8: Nepal has received medical aid from Israel to support the ongoing fight against COVID-19.  A special flight of Nepal Airlines brought from Israel a consignment of medical support on Thursday. The consignment consists of medical equipment and supplies including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, masks, PPEs and coverall, provided by the government and people of Israel as well as the Nepali community living in Israel  According to the Ministry of Foregin Affairs (MoFA), the Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv coordinated for mobilization of the support. The consignment was received by the representative of the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. Hanan Goder, Ambassador of Israel to Nepal and Harishchandra Ghimire, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were also present on the occasion.
