Taplejung fire survivors get relief materials

Nepali Congress central working committee has distributed relief materials to the survivors of fire at Dovan and other places in the district. Sixty households from Dovan and five households from other places in the district were provided the monetary assistance totaling 600 thousand.

Taplejung fire survivors get relief materials

Nepali Congress central working committee has distributed relief materials to the survivors of fire at Dovan and other places in the district. Sixty households from Dovan and five households from other places in the district were provided the monetary assistance totaling 600 thousand.  Each household was provided the amount ranging from Rs 9,00o to Rs 18,000, said NC district committee. The monetary assistance was provided amidst a programme at Dovan on Thursday. District President of NC Leela Devi Bokhim, former president Keshab Dahal and others handed over the assistance. The central working committee of the party extended monetary relief via district committee. Similarly, Rs 60,000 collected with the initiative of Trichandra College students hailing from Taplejung was handed to the fire survivors at the same programme. As many as 50 houses were gutted in fire occurred on March 3, which had displaced 60 households.
