CPN (Maoist Centre) has honoured 60 married inter-caste couples in Jumla. Speaking at the district conference of CPN (Maoist Centre) affiliated Dalit Mukti Morcha, chairman Chandra Bahadur Nepali said that in order to encourage and strengthen the couples who got married going against caste discrimination they had organised the honour programme.

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: A woman from Jumla has filed a rape case against lawmaker Mohan Baniya of Mugu.
The woman has accused Baniya of raping her at Nepalgunj based Apsara Hotel.
According to DSP Madhu Sudan Neupane of the District Police Office, Banke, the complaint will be registered today.
Lawmaker of CPN (UML), Baniya is also a former minister.
It has been learnt that Baniya had borrowed Rs 2.5 million from the woman. Baniya had called the woman to Nepalgunj to return the money.
According to the woman , Binya firstly provided a cheque to the woman then raped her and tried to seize the cheque.
The woman, who is also a teacher, is considered close to CPN (Maoist Center).
