Nepal-USA joint military training to kick off from today

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: Nepal Army and the United States of America (USA) Army are conducting a joint military exercise from Tuesday in Kathmandu. The joint military training named ‘X-Balance Nail 22-5530’ will be conducted for a month, according to the Nepal Army. The Nepal Army and the US Army have been conducting this sort of military training from 2060 BS. As many as 96 army personnel including 60 from the Nepal Army and 16 from the US Army will be participating in the training. A detachment of the US Army arrived in Nepal with the necessary supplies for the training.

KATHMANDU, June 13: Commanding General of the United States Army Pacific Charles A. Flynn has wrapped up his first trip to Nepal.  Flynn arrived in Nepal for his four day visit on Thursday. During his visit, Flynn took this opportunity to visit and observe U.S. support at the Birendra Peace Operations Training Center, Panchkhal and other Nepali Army units for humanitarian assistance and United Nations Peacekeeping efforts, according to the U.S Embassy in Kathmandu.  He also paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Deuba and discussed ways to further strengthen the U.S.-Nepal cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.  Here are some pictures of Flynn and activities he was involved in during his stay in Nepal:
