KMC pressurizes tax payers for dues settlement, launches door-to-door campaign with Panche Baja

KATHMANDU, Aug 25:Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started visiting large taxpayers’ houses and offices to pressurise them for immediate dues settlement.  A team of employees from KMC, on Wednesday, visited the taxpayers in  New Road, Khusubu Naya Bazaar, Soaltee Mode areas with Panche Baja (traditional Nepali musical band).   According to the KMC, as many as 70 large taxpayers have failed to settle the dues which they have not paid for the past  two  to 20 years.  The KMC shared that dues amounting Rs 700 million from those taxpayers.  Check some photos taken on Wednesday afternoon.
