National Sports Council Issues Ultimatum for Sports Association Renewal
Kathmandu. The National Sports Council (NSC) has given an ultimatum to registered national sports associations and federations to renew their registration by the upcoming Ashad 15. The council has issued a directive to associations that have not completed the process as per the National Sports Development Act, 2077 and Regulations, 2079. The NSC stated that it has taken this step after many associations repeatedly failed to fulfill their legal obligations such as constructing their organizational structure, holding periodic elections, and renewing their registration, despite multiple notices.
