Nepal, South Korea sign deal to support returnee migrants

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the Embassy of South Korea signed the Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) for 2 projects worth US$ 24 million (about Rs. 3 billion) to support returnee migrants in Nepal and enhance the capacity of Nepal Police in cyber security.

Deal signed to support SKorea returnee migrants

South Korea has initiated a project to support the returnee migrant workers in taking up entrepreneurship projects in Nepal. For it, Nepal and South Korea have signed an agreement for technical cooperation worth US$8 million for the project 'Strengthening Stage-wise Support System for the Stable Reintegration of Korea Returnee Migrants in Nepal' on Tuesday.

3,000 S. Korea returnees to go again for jobs

KATHMANDU, April 29: At least 3,000 returnee migrants from South Korea are likely to go again to South Korea for jobs.
