Nepali Tennis Team Departs for India Training Ahead of Asian Games
Kathmandu. A four-member Nepali tennis team, including three players, will depart for Bengaluru, India on Thursday for foreign training for the 20th Asian Games to be held in Japan in October.The team includes players Pradip Khadka, Nishan Shrestha, and Swastika Bista, and coach Renudevi Konda. One Dead, One Injured in Gorkha Lightning Strike
Gorkha. One of the two injured in a lightning strike in Gorkha has died.Dil Bahadur Kunwar, 32, of Barpak Sulikot-7 Baluwadanda, who was injured in the lightning strike, died, the District Police Office said. He died today during treatment at Provincial Hospital Gorkha.Ward Chairman Krishna Gurung informed that Prem Bahadur Kunwar, 45, of the same place was injured in the lightning strike.
