Onset of pre-monsoon spell: Cloudy weather forecast across the country
The pre-monsoon spell has commenced in Nepal recently with winter coming to an end. The winter this time was less cold and brought little rainfall than estimated.
KATHMANDU, June 27: There is now influence of monsoon wind across the country. The weather throughout the country remains partly to generally cloudy as a result of the monsoon wind.

SEP 11: Heavy rainfall is likely to take place in some parts with partial to general changes across the country.
According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, light to moderate rainfall would occur with thunder and lightning in some parts of the country. Likewise, there is a chance of heavy rainfall in one-two areas of the Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning is predicted in some areas of the mountainous belt of the country and limited areas of remaining provinces in the coming 24 hours, the Department said.
Likewise, one-two areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini province are likely to receive heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning.
