The artificial insemination service being operated with the objective of improving livestock breeds and increasing production in the district has become effective.In the fiscal year 2082-83, artificial insemination was performed on 10,783 livestock through the Veterinary Hospital and Livestock Service Coordination Centre and artificial insemination centers under local levels, said Rudra Singh Thakuri, Livestock Health Technician at the Veterinary Hospital and Livestock Service Coordination Centre.Ten artificial insemination centers are in operation in Tanahun.
