UML candidate Subedi leads vote count in Bharatpur metropolis

KATHMANDU, May 14: Bijay Subedi, CPN-UML’s candidate for the post of mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City is currently leading the vote count. Of 55 votes counted so far, Subedi has garnered 23 votes. His nearest contender was Renu Dahal, CPN (Maoist Center)’s candidate representing the ruling alliance, who collected 19 votes. Likewise, Jagan Nath Poudel, an independent mayor candidate, got seven votes.

Bharatpur Mayor Race: Renu Dahal continues to lead the vote count

KATHMANDU, May 20: Renu Dahal, a mayoral candidate of CPN (Maoist Center) backed by the Nepali Congress, has been maintaining her lead in the vote count in Bharatpur Metropolitan City. Of 56,845 votes counted so far, Dahal has secured 21,492 votes. Her nearest contender Bijay Subedi of CPN-UML has garnered 18,270 votes. Likewise, Jagannath Pudel, a rebel candidate of Nepali Congress has got 8,133 votes so far. Similarly, Chirtasen Adhikari, deputy-mayoral candidate of Nepali Congress garnered 23,861 votes followed by Himala Gurung of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) with 14,028 votes.

Candidates of ruling alliance leading vote count in Bharatpur metropolis

KATHMANDU, May 19: Candidates of ruling alliance are currently leading the vote count in Bharatpur Metropolitan City. The ruling alliance has fielded the candidacy of Renu Dahal of CPN (Maoist Center) for the post of mayor and Chitrasen Adhikari of Nepali Congress for the post of deputy-mayor. Both the Dahal and Adhikari are currently leading the vote count. As of 10 AM, Thursday, 39,931 votes have been counted in the metropolis. Of them, Renu Dahal has garnered 15,134 votes while her nearest candidate has secured 12,077 votes. Likewise, Jagannath Poudel, rebel mayoral candidate of Nepali Congress has got 6,253 votes. Meanwhile, deputy-mayoral candidate Adhikari has secured 17,535 votes while Himal Gurung of RPP has got 9,732 votes.

Bharatpur metropolis: Renu Dahal tops vote count with 273 votes

KATHMANDU, May 17: The mayoral candidate of CPN (Maoist Center) backed by the ruling alliance is currently leading the vote count in Bharatpur metropolis with 273 votes as of 5 PM, Tuesday.  So far, Renu Dahal has garnered 6,870 votes while his nearest contender Bijay Subedi of CPN-UML has got 6,597 votes. Likewise, the rebel candidate of Nepali Congress, Jaganath Poudel has collected 3,353 votes. So far as many as 20,288 votes have been counted.

Bharatpur metropolis: Renu Dahal tops vote count with little margin

KATHMANDU, May 17: The mayoral candidate of CPN (Maoist Center) backed by the ruling alliance is currently leading the vote count in Bharatpur metropolis with a small margin as of 10 AM, Tuesday.  So far, Renu Dahal has garnered 5,830 votes while his nearest contender Bijay Subedi of CPN-UML has got 5,799 votes. Likewise, the rebel candidate of Nepali Congress, Jaganath Poudel has collected 2,853 votes.

Likewise, Jagan Nath Poudel, an independent mayor candidate, got 1,413 votes.

KATHMANDU, May 15: As the number of total votes counted so far hits 3,977  Renu Dahal, mayoral  candidate of CPN (Maoist Center) representing the ruling alliance is currently leading the vote count. So far, Renu Dahal has garnered 1,372 votes while her nearest contender Bijay Subedi of CPN-UML has got 1,305 votes. Likewise, the rebel candidate of Nepali Congress, Jaganath Poudel has collected 470 votes.

Local polls: Vote count to begin soon in all six metropolis

KATHMANDU, May 13: Vote count is soon to begin in all the six Metropolitan Cities on Saturday. The vote count of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Bharatpur Metropolitan City are scheduled to kick off at around 8 AM this morning. Likewise, an all-party meeting of the Lalitpur metropolis is soon to decide the time to initiate the vote count. Similarly, vote count in Birgunj and Biratnagar metropolis is also scheduled to kick off on Saturday morning.
