FNCCI seeks tax filing, loan repayment deadline extension by three months
KATHMANDU, March 14: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has sought a three-month extension of the deadline for filing taxes and loan repayment for businesses and firms which are due for mid- April.
The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has intensified its 'Save Economy' campaign claiming that country's economy has witnessed multiple challenges and the private sector has come on the verge of collapse.
The FNCCI & IFC are joining hands to prepare a report, assessing the status of the private sector in Nepal and recording the contribution of this sector to the national economy.
FNCCI is worried that the bi-annual review of the monetary policy of current fiscal year could affect the economic activities which have gained momentum post pandemic.
FNCCI, as the umbrella organisation of all the traders, entrepreneurs, and industrialists of the country, was taking initiatives for resolving the problems in this sector.
