Government Continues Second Phase of Encroachment Clearances
Kathmandu. The government has been bulldozing settlements in slum and riverine areas as part of the second phase. This process is continuing on Sunday as well.This morning, bulldozers were used in the encroached settlement in the Kopan area. Taiwan President Lai Ching-te Makes Surprise Visit to Eswatini Amidst Chinese Opposition
Eswatini. Despite strong opposition and obstruction from China, Taiwan's President Lai Ching-te has made a surprise visit to the African country of Eswatini. Lai, who went to participate in the 40th anniversary of King Mswati III's coronation, declared that Taiwan is a sovereign nation and no one can stop it from having relations with the world.
