Lumbini Province Health Minister Bimala Oli Khatri in police custody on charge of assault
Mina Bhandari Basnet, 27, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City in Dang, has filed a complaint with the Area Police Office, Tulsipur against Khatri alleging misbehaviour at the hands of the minister.
Bimala Oli, a member of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly representing the CPN-Maoist Centre, has filed a complaint with the police claiming former chief minister and CPN-UML leader Shankar Pokhrel abducted and held her hostage.
