KATHMANDU: The National Information Commission (NIC) has presented its annual report for the fiscal year 2020/21 to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba Tuesday.
The National Information Commission (NIC) has fined Rs 15,000 to Chief of Padma Kanya (PK) Campus Dhan Prasad Pandit for not giving information on the internal audit and final audit report conducted by the Office of the Auditor-General.
More than half of the complaints received by the National Information Commission are related to the local levels.
It received 1,013 complaints in the fiscal year 2019/20, of which 52.4 per cent are related to the local governments, the NIC mentioned in its annual report of the last fiscal submitted to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday.
