Kathmandu University launches B.Tech. Ed-IT program in Janakpurdham, helps Madhesh Pradesh become a center of technical education in Nepal

Kathmandu University has launched a four-year Bachelor of Technical Education in Information Technology (B.Tech. Ed-IT) program in collaboration with Janaki College for Professional Studies in Janakpurdham, Madhesh Pradesh's capital. Chief Guest Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut announced it in Janakpurdham, expressing confidence that B.Tech. Ed-IT can help Madhesh Pradesh become a center of technical education in Nepal and also expressed gratitude to Kathmandu University for it. He also stated that the program would aid Madhesh Pradesh's development by producing skilled manpower in areas with enormous potentials, such as information technology. The function was presided over by Janaki College President Pankaj Jalan, with Madhesh Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut as the chief guest.
