KATHMANDU: Leader of CPN-UML and former minister Gokul Baskota has been elected from Kavre Constituency-2. Baskota garnered 45,345 votes while Nepali Congress candidate, Shiva Prasad Humagain, got 39,582 votes. Dinesh Humagai of Rastriya Swatantra Party garnered 10,586 votes.

As of now, Baskota has garnered 43,681 votes while Nepali Congress candidate, Shiva Prasad Humagain, has got 37,963 votes. Dinesh Humagai of Rastriya Swatantra Party is in third place with 9,478 votes.
KATHMANDU: CPN-UML’s Gokul Baskota has managed to take the lead in Kavre Constituency-2. He, who was constantly behind from the beginning, has taken a lead by 1,098 votes. So far, Baskota has garnred 22,812 votes. His nearest contender Shiva Prasad Humagai of the Nepali Congress has got 21,714 votes.
