Barcelona faces 3-0 defeat against Bayern in their first match after Messi’s departure

KATHMANDU, September 15:  Barcelona started their new Champion League season with 3-0 defeat against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.  Bayern scored three goals while Barcelona failed to hit the net in the Champions League Group E opener game.  With Thomas Muller scoring his seventh career goal against Barca in the first-half and two goals from Lewandowski made sure of the win against Barcelona. Barca, playing their first Champions League since the departure of Lionel Messi failed to score during the game. With this, Bayern leads the group, with the other game, between Benfica and Dinamo Kiev, finishing 0-0.
