Thousands of tourists have been flocking to Damak in Jhapa every day due to the alluring flowers that have bloomed along certain sections of the road over the past month. This area, located near a tea shop in Damak-9, has been named 'Tea Garden Viral Sports' by the locals.
In the past years, the forest area of Tinjure, Milke and Jaljale would be decked with blossoms of Lali Gurans (rhododendron). No matter where you looked, you could see the red flowers all around and there used to be a bulk of tourists. But this year, there are no tourists nor did Lali Gurans bloom like in the previous years.
