Biratnagar. During the Genji protests nationwide on August 30 and 31, 2025, widespread vandalism and arson occurred in government bodies and structures in Koshi Province. The structures damaged by arson and vandalism a year ago have not yet been rebuilt. The Chief Minister and Council of Ministers' Office in Koshi Province, located in Biratnagar, is still covered with green netting.
