US Air Force Refueling Plane Crashes in Western Iraq
Kathmandu. A US Air Force refueling aircraft crashed in western Iraq. According to information provided by the US Central Command, a KC-135 Stratotanker was involved in the accident. While two aircraft were involved in the incident, the second aircraft managed to land safely.US military officials have clarified that the crash was not caused by any attack or 'friendly fire'. Rescue operations were immediately launched at the crash site following the incident. However, official details regarding the number of crew members aboard the aircraft and their condition have not yet been released....
Central Grid Power Reaches Nepal's Only Hunting Reserve, Dhorpatan, for the First Time
Baglung. For the first time, Dhorpatan, Nepal's only hunting reserve, has been connected to the central transmission line. Due to geographical remoteness, the central line had not reached the area until now. Chitwan Records Extremely Heavy Rainfall, Weather Department Issues Updates
Kathmandu. Chitwan recorded extremely heavy rainfall of 126 millimeters in the last 12 hours. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Gorkha and Udayapur also experienced rainfall close to extremely heavy levels after Chitwan.According to the data recorded at the department's monitoring stations, Gorkha received 81.2 millimeters of rain, while Udayapur recorded 90 millimeters. The Department of Meteorology defines rainfall exceeding 100 millimeters as extremely heavy rainfall.
