KATHMANDU, Oct 8: The CPN-UML and Janata Samajbadi Party have agreed to join hands for 52 seats in the upcoming election of the House of Representatives (HoR).
Of the 52 seats, the CPN-UML has been allocated 35 seats while 17 have been allocated for JSP.
KATHMANDU, July 31: Upendra Yadav has been elected the parliamentary party leader of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP).
Yadav was elected unopposed during a parliamentary party meeting of JSP held on Saturday afternoon.
Yadav was proposed by party’s Federal Council Chairman Dr Baburam Bhattarai and seconded by party leader Mahendra Ray Yadav.
The parliamentary party meeting was attended by 20 members of the House of Representatives (HoR) and two members of the National Assembly (NA) from the party.
