Kanchanpur, Jan 22: A climate-friendly agriculture village is set to be established in Kanchanpur, and the Agriculture Knowledge Centre, Kanchanpur, has invited proposals from farmers, farmers’ groups, firms, and cooperatives for the initiative.To be implemented under the Sudurpashchim Province Government’s budget, the programme aims to develop a climate-resilient agricultural system, introduce eco-friendly technologies in vegetable and fruit farming, and increase agricultural production as well as farmers’ income.According to the Centre’s Agriculture Publicity Director, Hari Prasad Paneru, the initiative seeks to address challenges posed by climate change to the agricultural sector and to promote a sustainable, climate-resilient farming system that enhances...
