Himalayan to Kabul

Himalayan Airlines flew its first humanitarian flight this week to Kabul carrying 9.7 tons of relief materials including clothing, shoes, blankets and medicine. The supply was handed over to officials of the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan. The flight was operated upon request of Nepal’s Foreign Ministry and the cost of Rs12.5 million was borne by Himalayan Airlines.
