Police arrest two Indian nationals in possession of counterfeit Nepali, Indian currency notes

KATHMANDU, September 18: The police have arrested two Indian nationals in possession of counterfeit Nepali and Indian currency notes in the denominations of Rs 1000, Rs 500, Rs 100, Rs 50, Rs 20, Rs 10 and Rs 5 and INR 100, amounting to over Rs 27,000 from Aaurahi bazaar in Mahottari district. Arrestees have been identified as Pintu Kumar, 22, and Ritesh Kumar, 12, of Sitamarhi district in Bihar State. The arrest was made on Friday night. Both the arrestees have been sent to the District Police Office, Mahottari for investigations, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Bista. (with inputs from RSS)
